LeBusiness reported on September 14 that Lebanon recorded 34,549 property sales in the first eight months of 2026, with a registered value of approximately $3.74 billion. Its report attributes the figures to the General Directorate of Land Registry and Cadastre.
The reported transaction count was 23.75% below the equivalent 2025 period, while total value declined by 3.76%. The average registered deal was about $108,400. August accounted for 5,145 sales worth roughly $496.8 million.
Baitiq context: a higher average transaction value does not mean every apartment has appreciated. Different property sizes, locations and types can change the average. Compare similar properties locally and distinguish advertised asking prices from registered transaction values. This update extends the seven-month sector coverage already in our research collection.
